Abstract
In order to modify our proposed phase diagram of Sr1−xBaxZrO3 prepared with combination of high temperature X-ray diffraction measurements and thermal analyses, high temperature X-ray diffraction with precise interval has been carried out. With measurements at temperature interval of 4 or 10 °C, hysteresis has been observed at heating and cooling procedure in the phase transition from Ibmm to I4/mcm, indicating order of the transition is first. Also, Ibmm phase and I4/mcm phase coexisting temperature region has been detected, showing agreement with the first order of the transition. The accurate and reliable phase diagram of Sr1−xBaxZrO3 considering two phase coexisting region by the first order phase transition has been constructed.
