Shrinking Photon and Geometrical Duality in the Reaction γVP → π0P

The scattering amplitudes of the π0 photoproduction are continued to the π0 electroproduction by using the phase shift analysis. The imaginary parts of the scattering amplitudes show the Bessel function like behavior and as the photon becomes off-mass shell, the zero points of the scattering amplitudes move to larger |t|. Therefore shrinking photon in the dual geometrical picture is naturally explained. Our results also explain the recent data on π0 electroproduction from DESY by Brasse et al.
