Abstract
⿢Silica attached to graphene oxide surface with the load of homogeneous distribution is prepared.⿢Silica is anchored on graphene oxide sheets which benefits from synergistic effect of APTS and GPTS.⿢The SiO2⿿GO (1:5) sheet hybrids have fine dispersion in the epoxy resin.⿢The incorporation of SiO2⿿GO hybrids significantly enhances corrosion resistance of epoxy coatings.
