摘要

•Deposited copper nanoparticles intercalated-polyaniline nanocomposites (NC) thin film.•NC films showed highly selective response towards NH3.•NC film could reversibly detect as low as 1ppm concentration of NH3.•NC film with 0.13 at.% of Cu showed sensor response of 86% towards 50ppm NH3.•The response and recovery times of 7 and 160s, respectively were achieved.
