摘要
•HT from perforated fin were measured for different orientations and hole diameters.•HT was compared with that of equivalent solid fins.•32% enhancement in heat transfer coefficient was observed with perforated fins.•30% saving in material with use of perforated fins with 12mm perforation dia.
