摘要
New experimental results from the ITEP-PNPI collaboration are presented on the asymmetry in backward elastic scattering of negative pions on polarized protons in the resonance region. The data were obtained in the angular region (150 degrees - 170 degrees) c.m. at initial momenta 1.78 and 2.07 GeV/c. The results are compared to the predictions of partial wave analyses. The measurement was done at the ITEP accelerator.
