Electron Doping in (Bi,Pb)-2223 Oxides Intercalated by Metal-Phthalocyanines

As the (Bi,Pb)-2223 cuprates are exposed to vapors of M(Pc) (M=Zn, Ni, Fe, Pb), Tc and magnetic hysteresis exhibit an abrupt change at the lowest uptake level of M(Pc). With increasing uptake level of M(Pc), the spectral weight gradually transfer from IR to UV region. The above effects are attributed to the electron doping of the host oxides by electron donors of M(Pc) molecules.
