Abstract
A Lattice Boltzmann model for large density ratio was employed to simulate a bubble growing on a heated surface with a constant temperature. The results revealed the process of the bubble growing. The effects of bubble growth and departure on the temperature distribution were investigated. Furthermore the influence of superheat on bubble growing was discussed.
