Low‐lying states of 94Nb

A preliminary level scheme of 94Nb53 has been established using the results from conversion electron and γ‐ray measurements following thermal neutron capture. An attempt has been made to interpret part of the states in terms of proton‐neutron multiplets using the lowest order one phonon exchange. The staggering is attributed to higher order multipoles.
