Background: Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is thought to be more common in males and Caucasians, yet little data exists regarding the presentation of EoE among children. Methods: A retrospective study of children undergoing esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) was done to determine gender and racial differences in the prevalence and presenting symptoms of EoE.
