Abstract
Firstly, the paper introduces the development of studying Moho using near‐vertical seismic reflection in recent years. Secondly, we process and interpret 1 300 km‐length near‐vertical seismic reflection data and achieve some characteristics of Moho depth in Songliao basin. The important characteristic is a 32 km‐isoline along Yi'an‐Daqing‐East Daan. To the west of this line the depth of Moho is bigger than on the other side. At the same time, we pick up the instantaneous information of Moho phase in typical segment of the profile. The results indicate that the three‐instantaneous information can improve the interpretation on characteristics of Moho using the original section. At last, we discuss the problems on the mechanism of formation of Moho and the relation between Moho and basin.
