摘要
Before 2005, the only education system in wood industry department, was the traditional system (4,5-5 year), able to prepare students with theorical - applicative knowledge.During these years we have been part of many consultations with homolog European Universities such as Florence, Bari, Nancy, Thessaloniki, Eberswalde etc (as a result of TEMPUS and DAAD projects). This experience presented us with a new education system (two levels University education) that can provide: qualitative and coherent knowledge according to the request of the job market; transfer of studies and diploma recognition between Universities inside and outside of the country.Based on different convents such as convent-declaration of Lisbon, Sorbonne, Paris, Bologna and Prague, the Department of Wood Industry (Faculty of Forest Sciences) was involved in the reconstruction of the existing curricula. After a preparatory phase, in academic year 2005-2006, the two-levels University education system began the implementation, according the model 3+2 (Bachelor and Master) and the evaluation of curricula with credits CFU.The three years teaching program of the first level intends to prepare specialists, able to resolve management and production problems; the two years teaching program of the second level, intends to prepare specialists, able to be involved in scientific research. After the implementation of the new education system for about seven years, it's obvious, that this system has a positive impact not only in better education of the students but also in the preparing of specialists in accordance of new requests of the job market in wood industry.
