TOXOPLASMOSE CONGENITALE CONDUITE A TENIR PENDANT LA GROSSESSE ET CHEZ LE NOUVEAU-NE

The aim of this work is to underline the difficulies met in the management of a new born whose mother underwent a seroconversion of toxoplasmosis during pregnancy, and to recall the appropriate altitude in the presence of a seroconversion in the pregnant woman. The absence of treatement results in the occurrence of serious forms of congenital toxoplasmosis and chorioretinitis during childhood and sometimes even at adulthood. The best treatement is preventive. Serology of toxoplasmosis should be part of obligatory in public health test for the benefit of every pregnant woman in Morocco in the absence of a premarital test if the pre-marriage statement fails to determine so.
