Collaboration between New Zealand Early Childhood Centres and Community Resources

Accessing community resources to support children and families attending early childhood centres has meant that contact between early childhood practitioners with health, social welfare organisations and community police has been common practice in New Zealand for many years. Drawing on results from research conducted by the Children's Issues Centre and on recent Ministry of Education initiatives, the complexities of moving from contact to collaboration between early childhood centres and community support will be explored
