Electromagnetic Transitions In Isospin Multiplets.

The comparison of the strengths of corresponding E2 transitions in T=1 isospin multiplets has been an important tool for understanding the isovector dependence of E2 transitions for many years. The development of radioactive beams and more sensitive detector technology has made this method much more powerful so that more T=1 multiplets can be studied in detail and T=2 multiplets can be studied for the first time.
