PLACE DE L’ENDOSCOPIE DANS LA MIGRATION DU DISPOSITIF INTRA-UTÉRIN

The migration of intra uterine device is a rare incident, the starting point occurs at the time of insertion. The diagnosis is suspected by the lack of benchmarks during the clinical examination. In literature, we have counted 140 cases of intra-abdominal migration [1] and less than 50 cases of intra vesical migration [2], only 42,9% of which are complicated by lithiasis. Howeuev the pelvian extra-vesical migration, essentially recto-sigmodian is exceptional. We report 31 cases of IUD migration of various locations: intramyometriale: seven cases, peritoneal cavity: 15 cases, visceral: seven cases, skin: 1 case and not found in one case. The diagnostic hysteroscopy was performed in six cases, and diagnostic laparoscopy in 21 cases. The extraction of the IUD was conducted through vaginal way by clip in two cases by hysteroscopy in four cases, laparoscopy in 11 cases, by laparotomy in nine cases, cystoscopy in three cases, skin incision in one case.
