The Santos Basin Mega-depth project is located “up-dip” of the recent deepwater pre-salt discoveries, and covers over 20,000 square kilometers of the deepwater Santos Basin. Beam pre-stack depth migration, along with automatic 3D reflection tomography, was the primary tool used to build the depth velocity model.
