摘要
Metastases are rarely seen in cases of low grade transitional cell carcinoma of urinary bladder. The most common sites of distant metastasis are the liver, lung, mediastinum and bones. Pulmonary metastases from transitional cell carcinoma usually present as multiple nodules, solitary mass or interstitial micronodules and rarely manifests as cystic pulmonary lesions. We present an unusual case of cystic pulmonary nodules diagnosed to be metastases from transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder. We conclude that in a known case of transitional cell carcinoma of urinary bladder, if presenting with cystic lesion in the lung parenchyma, metastasis should be considered among differential diagnosis along with more common causes.
