Abstract
Due to the network load growth and the entrance of distributed energy resources (DERs) and plug-in hybrid electrical vehicles (PHEVs) to the distribution networks, development of enhanced distribution network expansion planning considering these new types of resources is necessitated. Specially, integration of the intelligent PHEV parking in the distribution networks can effectively influence the planning strategies. This subject is investigated in this paper by presenting a new framework for the incorporation of simultaneous placement of intelligent PHEV parking and DG units into the expansion planning of distribution substations and lines. The proposed model is a multiobjective structure solved using the s-constraint optimization method as a well-known multiobjective approach. In order to evaluate the capability of proposed model, it has examined on a primary distribution network and the results have been analyzed.
