Rapid colorimetric detection of melamine by H2O2–Au nanoparticles

摘要
A simple, rapid and sensitive detection method by the naked eye for melamine in dairy products is reported. Within 60 min, melamine can be detected as low as 0.4 mu M by UV-vis spectrometric or naked eye observation, which is far below the melamine safety limit in the USA and EU.
