Adefovir dipivoxil versus other antiviral drugs for chronic hepatitis B

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the benefits and harms of adefovir dipivoxil alone or in combination with other drugs, as compared with antiviral drugs, in the treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis B virus infection. We will exclude comparisons that are already studied in other Cochrane Reviews on antiviral drugs for HBV infection (Katz 2010).
