A multiband antenna for LTE (Long Term Evolution) applications

Abstract
An antenna is proposed for LTE applications. It is designed on FR4 substrate with relative dielectric coefficient epsilon(r) = 4.4. The size of substrate is 32mm x 135mm x 1.6mm. The operation frequency ranges are 700M similar to 960MHz, and 1180M similar to 3000MHz with the datum line of 10dB return loss. The proposed antenna can be used for LTE (Long Term Evolution), GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications), GPS (Global Positioning System), and Wi-Fi applications.
