Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of 0.1% tacrolimus ointment in the treatment of cheilitis. Methods 36 patients with cheilitis treated in our hospital from April 2013 to March 2014 were selected as the observation ob-jects.0.1%tacrolimus ointment was coated outside once every morning and evening and a course of treatment was seven days, and this drug was continuously used for 2 courses.Another 30 cases were selected as the control group, and hydro-cortisone butyrate ointment was coated outside once every morning and evening and a course of treatment was seven days, and this drug was continuously used for 2 courses. Results The total effective rate in the tacrolimus ointment group (94.4%) was significantly higher than that of the hydrocortisone butyrate group (80.0%) with statistical difference (P< 0.05).Patients were followed up for 3 months after treatment,4 patients in the tacrolimus ointment had recurrence and the recurrence rate was 11.1%. 8 cases of patients in the hydrocortisone butyrate group had recurrence and the re-currence rate was 26.7%,the recurrence rate in the tacrolimus ointment group was significantly lower than that of hy-drocortisone butyrate group with statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion 0.1% tacrolimus ointment in the treatment of cheilitis had obvious curative effect and low recurrence rate and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
