Electric Burn -Four Cases Report-

Four cases of electrical burn after coming into contact with high tension electrical current (6, 600-20, 000 volt) were reported. Electrical burn is unlike other burns because of extensive local destruction of tissue. Furthermore thrombosis of vein prompts to progress necrosis, which makes the injury more severe and troublesome.In three cases we were obliged to amputate the injured extremities because of wide necrotic tissues by thromboses.
