Data base of full solar dilk H-alpha images from the Baikal Observatory
ESA Special Publications(2002)
Abstract
At the Baikal Observatory, operated by ISTP SD RAS, the full disc H-alpha observations are carried out on the regular basis with the telescope, coupled with Halle birefringent filter (bandpass 0.5 A, tunable to +/- 1A). Since May, 2000 the film camera was replaced to 16-bit CCD camera of Princeton Instruments with matrix detector SITE 2048x2048 pixel. The rate of shooting is 1/1 min with exposure 30 ms. The images are corrected before their archiving on CD-ROM. The corrections include: rotation of solar disc image to the standard position, centering of solar disc in the frame, dark current subtraction. The data are stored in FITS format with 16-bit amplitude resolution.
