Abstract
The reconstruction of defect after wide resection for distal radius giant cell tumour remains a daunting task for the orthopaedic surgeon and has been the topic of extensive discussions in the literature. Out of the various reconstructive procedures described, the option of non vascularised proximal fibular autograft has been widely used with satisfactory results. The case of a woman presenting with Campanacci grade 3 giant cell tumour treated by this method with a follow-up of 30 months is reported. Emphasis is placed on the surgical technique.Key words: Autograft, Distal radius, Fibula, Giant cell tumour
