Consensus Building on Use Management of the Newly Created Sandy Beach

Conflict assessment was conducted to prevent conflicts of interest in the consensus building about the management of the newly created sandy beach. We could find there are contradictory elements in beach creation purposes that are the biodiversity protection and the provision of amenity space. The majority of citizens will support the plan to use the beach for leisure and not accept a plan that is avoidance of some of the uses for the biodiversity. In order to create a Win/Win situation in the tidal flat and the beach creation, it is requrierd to examine various techniques for consensus building and the effective biodiversity education method.
