Summary By 3D3C seismic data in Daqing LMD oilfield, the paper investigates on P-wave and converted wave joint interpretation approach. The paper researches converted wave synthetic seismogram, solving problems of horizon calibration in P-wave and converted wave seismic data. Analysis sensitivity parameters of reservoir from full waveform logging data, analysis the difference response characteristics of subsurface media between P-wave and converted wave, then recognize the reservoir, eliminate multiple solutions purely by P-wave seismic exploration, and increase success rate in complicated and heterogeneity gas exploration and development.
