Abstract
The HEGRA scintillator andČerenkov light counter s (AIROBICC) allow to determine the energy and coarse chemical composition of charged cosmi c raysin theenergy rangebetween10 eV and10 eV. Themeasured quantities at ground level can be used to estimat e the primary energy either by a primary mass dependen t or independen t method. Herewepresent and compar e the energy spectr a obtained with both methods.
