The important role of inland tourism in revitalising territories and reinforcing or generating identity is now recognised. The book that the reader has in his hands shows through three case studies, located in Catalonia, Galicia and Murcia, how inland areas reinvent themselves in terms of tourism and use their heritage, landscape, cultural, gastronomic and identity resources to place themselves in the imagination of travellers and tourists.
