摘要
Apoptosis is mechanism of programmed cell death mechanism. Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic syndrome, and decreases blood flow and consequently the time of consolidation. The therapy with the low intensity has show efficiency in cellular regeneration and can accelerate the bone healing process of immune response/inflammatory, which play an important role for the regeneration of bone tissue (Baxter, 1994). This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of diode laser 904nm in regeneration bone in diabetic rats. Sixty male Wistar rats were divided into 6 groups and submitted to bone defect on the left tibia. The Group 1 was not induced diabetes and not treated with laser; Group 2 was not induced diabetes and treated with laser dose 50w to 7 applications; Group 3 was not induced diabetes and treated with laser 100w with the same protocol; Group 4 induced diabetics with streptozotocin and the thent day after undergoing the surgical procedure but not treated with laser; Group 5 induced diabetes and treated with laser dose 50w/cm; Group 6 induced diabetes and treated with laser 100w with the same protocol. We used immunohistochemistry to analyze expression of CASPASE‐3 and and Computer Tomography for bone parameters. The results shows decrease of CASPASE‐3 in groups treated with laser and X‐rays and bone densitometry suggest that the 904 nm laser diode is to improve bone repair.
