摘要

•Spin-glass behavior of MgFeBO4 and CoFeBO4 observed by Mössbauer spectroscopy.•Transition temperature TSG increases strongly with Co substitution.•Dynamical scaling theory near TSG is fulfilled.•Spin-glass behavior is explained as due to short range correlations.•Inclusion of Co increases exchange interaction and magnetocrystalline anisotropy.
