Abstract
•An investigation of the corrosion resistance of Ti–Nb–Si was proposed.•The study was based on polarization curves, OCP, electrochemical impedance, XPS.•The addition of Si to 0.35% increased the corrosion resistance of the alloys.•Data suggest that the studied alloys are promising for biomedical applications.
