This results in enhanced sensitivity towards thin resistive layers. As the B‐field components are zero over layered cases their measurement results in an exceptional sensitivity towards 3D structures. In field experiments over 10 hydrocarbon reservoirs unusually strong vertical magnetic field components have been observed that coincide with the known extensions of the reservoirs.Permalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/1.3513893FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByFeasibility Study of Electromagnetic Monitoring of CO2 Sequestration in Deep Reservoirs Using SQUID System15 June 2021Feasibility study of reservoir monitoring in an onshore oil field using SQUITEM systemMichael Zhdanov, Leif Cox, Alex Gribenko, Hideaki Ban, and Hiroshi Chiba30 September 2020Exploration of resistive targets within shallow marine environments using the circular electrical dipole and the differential electrical dipole methods: a time-domain modelling study8 February 2016 | Geophysical Journal International, Vol. 205, No. 2 SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 2010ISSN (print):1052-3812 ISSN (online):1949-4645Copyright: 2010 Pages: 4453 publication data© 2010 Copyright © 2010 Society of Exploration GeophysicistsPublisher:Society of Exploration Geophysicists HistoryPublished: 21 Oct 2010 CITATION INFORMATION Stefan L.
