Abstract
•Lipid droplets and lipid vesicles of different chemical composition were prepared.•Size characteristics of lipid particles were determined by AF4-MALS, DLS and TEM.•Shape and internal structure of lipid particles was inferred from the shape factor.•Size dispersity of lipid vesicles containing higher cholesterol amount was broader.•Lipid vesicles showed narrower size distribution than lipid droplets.
