Abstract
Biopsy under MRI guidance is a recent mammary interventional technique. The validation of the procedure puts a new problem because the targeted signal is created by the injection of a paramagnetic contrast agent, the lesion is thus fleeting. The validation of the is performed for the moment by the radiologist who checks the accuracy of the ballistics and releases a clip at the end of the procedure, and secondly by the analysis of pathological results which must be representative of the lesion. The knowledge of the nature of the image: mass or non-mass as well as of its BI-RADS classification is necessary for the pathologist. The objective is to obtain a radiopathological concordance. In case of a non-specificbenign result, the control is necessary after 6 months and requires to be continued according to the evolution of the image. (c) 2015 Elsevier Masson SAS.
