Formation of continuous solid solutions near the minimum point of a phase diagram

A model of structure ordering in alloys of the compositions corresponding to the minimum points of phase diagrams with continuous series of solid solutions was proposed based on calculating the concentration dependence of the energy of mixing and the results of X-ray powder diffraction study of solid solutions in the systems Sb-As, Sb 2 Se 3 -Bi 2 S 3 , and Cu-Mn.
