Abstract
•A patient presenting with Brody disease had two muscle biopsies at a 19-year interval.•Both biopsies showed increased size of nuclei and increase of aggregation.•They also showed an indented aspect of myonuclei and vacuolar formation.•Ca++ disturbance could be disruptive of the mitosis, leading to myocyte polyploidy.
