Abstract
The figures presented in the original version of this article were assembled from different gels without indicating in the figures and figure legends that such assembly had occurred as required by Journal of Biological Chemistry policy. The corrected figures are presented, and the changes are indicated below. An incorrect image of supplemental Fig. 1 was used and has been replaced on line. The conclusions of the article are unchanged by these corrections. We regret any confusion that this has caused readers. On Page 30154, Fig. 2A was assembled from four autorads as indicated by the lines. On Page 30155, an incorrect image was used for Fig. 3E. This is one gel grouped as indicated by the lines. On Page 30157, panels B and C in Fig. 6 were assembled from one blot grouped as indicated by the lines. This correction does not affect the conclusions. On Page 30158, the upper panel in Fig. 7B was assembled from two blots with the indicated lines. One blot had more efficient cleavage of ataxin-7-92Q in the 293T lysates. Tubulin was used for the third through sixth lanes.
