摘要
Design of spillways are mainly studied through physical modelling, due to complex geometries and encountered physical phenomena. Nevertheless, efficient numerical techniques have been developed since one or two decades, and become today suitable to complement physical modeling, thanks to the progress of high-performance computers. Since several years, studies are done at EDF to analyze the relevance of NEPTUNE_CFD and SPARTACUS-3D softwares (developed at EDF R&D) and of FLOW-3D (R) software (recently acquired by EDF-CIH), more precisely regarding their application to the design of spillways. This article presents results from first applications of these numerical tools to real configurations, for which measurements from physical models are available. Qualitative comparisons show good performances of these softwares. 3D numerical models could then be used to complete physical modeling, through pre-design tests, aid to exploitation or/and data enrichment.
