Pharmacokinetics of Tolterodine And Its Active Metabolite After Multiple Doses In Relation To Cyp2d6 Genotype
CLINICAL THERAPEUTICS(2015)
摘要
Tolterodine is an antimuscarinic drug and is prescribed to treat overactive bladder to relieve urinary difficulties. Tolterodine is predominantly metabolized by CYP2D6 and the metabolism of tolterodine involves the formation of pharmacologically active 5-hydroxymethyl tolterodine. As CYP2D6 is highly polymorphic, we investigated the effects of CYP2D6 genetic polymorphism on the pharmacokinetic parameters of tolterodine and its active metabolite after multiple doses.
