摘要

Toxic myocarditis is a less explored indication of extracorporeal life support (ECLS) in our country. We present a case of use of ECLS in severe left ventricular dysfunction induced by aluminum phosphide (ALP) poisoning. As refractory arrhythmias and myocardial failure have been established as the primary cause of death in ALP poisoning, ECLS can prove to be a useful adjunct to the supportive management.
