Thermal Conductivity of Molybdenum; Test of Steady-state Method from 1.5 K to 40 K

In this paper the physical and technical aspects of experimental study of thermal conductivity of solids at low temperatures are described. The experimental setup for thermal conductivity measurements using steady-state method from 1.5 K to nominally 40 K has been designed and successfully tested. The results of thermal conductivity of molybdenum, studied as reference material, are presented and the origin of difference with the data from literature is discussed.
