Super-paramagnetic loaded nanoparticles based on biological macromolecules for in vivo targeted MR imaging
International Journal of Biological Macromolecules(2016)
Abstract
SPIONPs-CS-FA was prepared by using an ionotropic gelation method.SPIONPs-CS-FA showed low cytotoxicity and high water stability.SPIONP-CS-FA showed decrease in signal intensity in both T2W and T2*W images.SPIONP-CS-FA showed in vitro cellular uptake by targeting folate receptors.SPIONP-CS-FA can be used as an either tumor or organ specific MRI contrast agents.
