Abstract
⿢SPIONPs-CS-FA was prepared by using an ionotropic gelation method.⿢SPIONPs-CS-FA showed low cytotoxicity and high water stability.⿢SPIONP-CS-FA showed decrease in signal intensity in both T2W and T2*W images.⿢SPIONP-CS-FA showed in vitro cellular uptake by targeting folate receptors.⿢SPIONP-CS-FA can be used as an either tumor or organ specific MRI contrast agents.
