摘要

•The isothermal RT-LAMP method was able to detect distinct YFV American strains and the 17D vaccine strain (African derived strain).•The developed method was 100% sensitive and 100% specific for YFV genomes in comparison to other RT-PCR derived methods.•The new proposed method is simple and rapid and can be used in isothermal condition.
