摘要

•Simple sol–gel method was used for Ag/TiO2 & Sr–Ag co-doped TiO2 nanoparticles synthesis.•Doped nanoparticle photocatalysts effectively degraded DG-6 & RB-160 dyes under UV & visible light.•Prepared photo-catalysts were stable and reusable with good promise for similar industrial applications.
