Anti-seismic Ability Survey of the Civil Buildings in the Villages in the City of Kunming, Yunnan

We investigated the civil buildings in the villages in the city of Kunming,Yunnan, and gave their distribution, quantity, architecture structure characteristics, anti-seismic ability and function. Through introducing the statistic damage ratio of past earthquakes in Yunnan, we calculated the potential areas and casualties of various damage levels while an earthquake with intensity Ⅷ occurs, and estimated the anti-seismic ability of the civil buildings in the villages in the city of Kunming.
