摘要

•Thalidomide acts as neuroprotector in same neurological disorders like epilepsy.•The experimental model of Parkinson induced by MPTP is improved by thalidomide.•Administration of thalidomide before or after MPTP is beneficial.•Thalidomide could be tested in the therapy of Parkinson's disease.•As inhibitor of MAO-B thalidomide could also be tested in disorders like depression.
