摘要

•We compared the impact of linezolid use and non-use on mortality in hematology and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation patients colonized with vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus spp (VRE).•Linezolid use had no impact on mortality.•The severity of illness in the patients was associated with death.
