Genome sequence of Serratia nematodiphila DSM 21420T, a symbiotic bacterium from entomopathogenic nematode.

•Serratia nematodiphila DSM 21420T, isolated from the nematode Heterorhabditidoides chongmingensis, has insect pathogenicity, which near complete genome sequence has been deposited in NCBI.•The genome sequence of S. nematodiphila DSM 21420T is the first genome report in the species of S. nematodiphila.•In the Serratia species, only few cases have been known to occur the insect mortality by harboring the mutualistic relation with entomopathogenic nematode. The genome sequence of S. nematodiphila DSM 21420T can support to reveal the mechanisms of unknown regulatory systems for these rare features.
